Man Dies After Consuming 8 Cans of Energy Drink To Win N1,600

Just to win N1,600 as cash prize, a unnamed man in Enugu state died after gulping 8 cans of energy drinks which ended the competition in shock.

The incident was confirmed by the Enugu state police DSP, Ebere Amaraizu, who said the deceased became sick and went into coma after taking the drinks.

“He was consequently rushed to the Mother of Christ Hospital Enugu, where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty," Amaraizu said.

His body has also been deposited at the hospital mortuary for necessary action.
