Scores of people are feared dead after an alarming explosion tore a crowded motor park in Gombe town apart, residents have confirmed.

According to sources, the blast which occurred in Dukku motor park has claimed many lives but casualty figure is yet to be confirmed.

Efforts to reach the Gombe state police spokesperson, Fwaje Atajiri, on the phone has been in vain.
