Mikel Obi Becomes British Citizen

Nigeria international and Chelsea of England midfielder, John Obi Mikel, is now a British citizen.

Mikel Obi becomes British citizen

The Super Eagles’ A-list player had waited patiently since he applied for the prestigious British passport last year and was delighted to get a positive feedback from the relevant authorities last week.

Mike became eligible for citizenship, having spent more than eight years in England following his transfer to Chelsea from Lyn Oslo of Norway in 2006.

Before the commencement of the current English Premier League season, speculations were rife that Chelsea’s manager, Jose Mourinho, wanted to sacrifice him to free up a foreign quota spot, but this is now a thing of the past.

Speaking to the Sun, a representative of the Super Eagles star said:
‘’Mikel was issued a British passport last week, and he is very happy to be in the possession of the passport.’’
‘’That’s very good news because he will no longer be counted as a foreign player in the Chelsea squad.
‘’All the obstacles that would have prevented him playing in Europe have been eliminated, especially in Italy.
‘’Mikel is not leaving Chelsea in the January transfer window. He will only think about his future at the end of this season,’’ the representative added.

But why? Alexis Sanchez was reportedly dumped by his girlfriend due to lack of sexual stamina

Reports in his native Chile claims that Grassi sacked the Gunners winger because he lacks stamina on the other field of play.

Sanchez' relationship has recently been the subject of much speculation since Grassi recently deleted all photos of the pair on her Instagram page.

Now, Chilean media outlet La Cuarta, has claimed that the 25-year-old has failed Miss Grassi’s strenuous bed requirments due to a lack of stamina, leaving her to dip into the transfer market for a replacement while he gets used to being a free agent.

Well, not too bad for him. This means he’ll be able to get a few more clean sheets under his belt.

Before the premier league clash between Newcastle Utd and Chelsea which held at St. James Park, Jose Mourinho's side had never lost a match since their home defeat to Atletico de Madrid in the last Champion's League competition.

Papiss Cisse came on as a substitute in the second half to bang in the first goal.

Chelsea became nervy to protect the unbeaten streak which saw them attack in numbers but a well mapped game plan by Alan Pardew saw a fast counter attack converted to a second goal by Senegalese star Papiss Cisse.

Didier Drogba soon got on the score sheet but it was only a consolation goal for the blues as they left St. James Park without a single point.

Alan Pardew will have Papiss Cisse to thank for putting Chelsea and Jose Mourinho to the sword.

Emmanuel Adebayor's Brother Blasts Him For Calling Their Mother A Witch

This is obviously one of the most bizarre stories of the football season so far as it continues to rumble on.

Emmanuel Adebayor sends mom parking over juju claims

Recntly, we reported that Togo International Emmanuel Adebayor who plays for Tottenham FC in England accused his family of using 'juju' (dark magic) to disrupt his footballing career.

The biggest dig was the one he aimed at 'his mother', calling her a witch and accusing her of his goal drought.

Following the accusations, his older brother who lives and works in Germany as a truck driver has stepped in.

He said:
"Emmanuel has been brainwashed by these Muslim alfas – spiritual men – who prophesise when he scores goals and why he is not playing well.
"They have convinced him his sister and mother put juju curses on him. My mother is very sad. Every day she is crying. I just talked to her on the phone and she was crying again," he told The Sun yesterday.
It's reliably reported that his mother, 62-year-old Alice now earns £1 a day by selling tomatoes in the street after he kicked her out of her African home which he bought.

Meanwhile, Adebayor didn't get the chance to lift the juju curse as he was left out of the Tottenham’s squad that faced Everton last weekend.

Emmanuel Adebayor Reportedly Throws Mum Out of His House, Accuses Her of Witchcraft

It is alleged that the Tottenham Football Club of England striker is at loggerheads with his relatives whom he has accused of performing rituals against him.

Speaking to Accra-based Peace FM, Adebayor’s cousin Margaret said:
“For the past six years Adebayor has rejected his mother and his immediate family whilst doing charity outside on the premise that our mother is a witch,We have been thinking of his future as a footballer and did not want this issue out in the media but it is becoming too much.Could you believe Adebayor ordered his machomen to sack our mother and his own mother from a house he built in Togo claiming she is a witch?"
She continued..
"As we speak our mother lives in an apartment rented by our junior brother, Kola Adebayor, who currently lives in Germany. My mother weeps bitterly about the issue every day.  Anytime his mother or any of us (his close relatives) call and he realizes, he will quickly cut the call. “I personally supervised the building of his house in Trassaco and he gave us an apartment in the house. But all of a sudden he changed his attitude towards us, one afternoon his machomen came to drive us away from the house.”
However, Adebayor has denied the allegations although he admitted his relationship with his family has been strained.
“Ask my sister Margaret whether I did not build them a house in East Legon, and what happened to it? I bought my younger sister Lucia a car worth $35,000, where is it? If they want the issue resolved they should stop spreading the news and let’s meet to resolve it but they aren’t willing to do so," he added.
