Muna Obiekwe dies #Sad

Actor Muna Obiekwe died yesterday afternoon, around 4:15pm in a hospital in Lagos after a battle with kidney failure.

He was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed yesterday at his home but unfortunately, it was too late for doctors to save him.

It is revealed that Muna has been quietly battling with a kidney disease but refused to share his pain with anyone else, not even his friends or colleagues.

JamPlace reached out exclusively to his wife while she was depositing his body in a Lagos mortuary and she revealed that Muna had failed to go for his dialysis for over two weeks.

He actually needed money for his health issues but also, he refused to go public about it. Instead, he was planning to stage a play to raise money but unfortunately, he died before he could execute his plans.

This is such a terrible news. A great shocker not just to Nollywood but to Nigeria as a whole.

Meanwhile, there's a twitter handle @MunaObiekwe that's denying his death. That is not Muna! It's a FAKE twitter account.

Other Nollywood stars including Mike Ezuruonye, Nonso Diobi, Uche Jumbo, Emeka Amakeze, Yvonne Jegede.. etc.. have confirmed the sad news by mourning his death on social.

Muna is sadly dead. Heartbreaking!!
