APC Shuns Rivalry To Console President Jonathan Over Sister's Death

President Jonathan's greatest political oponent, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has put politics aside to commiserate with President Jonathan over the death of his younger sister.

In the statement which was signed by its National Secretary Lai Mohammed, the party prayed that God comforts President Jonathan and his family.

"We pray that God will grant repose to the soul of the departed, comfort the President and his entire family and give them the strength to bear their loss. We also wish the immediate family of the deceased God’s succour in their moment of darkness,” the statement said.

Mrs Nancy Jonathan-Olei died at a private hospital in Bayelsa yesterday January 4th.
