So, this Nigerian man who is based in Ghana was able to successfully defraud a fan of Ghanaian actor Majid Michel, landing him in jail for the next 10 months with hard labour.

Impostor! Kelvin Ogodogu

Mr Kelvin Ogodogu was nabbed on November 15th, 2014, after he told a woman on Facebook that he is the real Ghanaian actor.

He later asked the US-based Nigerian woman identified as Ikay, to help him with some money to bury his late mother.

Unfortunately for him, when the real Majid visited US recently, the woman was able to meet him and asked why he would request money from her.

They played along with the impostor until he was nabbed.

Kelvin was arraigned on Thursday before a Magistrates Court in Teshie, Ghana where he was sentenced to 10 months with hard labour.
