"Wike Can Betray His Mother For Money, He's A Thug' - Gov. Amaechi

Rivers state Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi yesterday said the PDP Governorship candidate in Rivers state, Nyesom Wike is a thug that can betray anyone, even his own mother, for money.

Wike, Amaechi

Amaechi said this while campaigning for the state's APC candidate Dakuku Peterside in Port Harcourt yesterday April 9th.

He said..
"Nyesom Wike loves and worships money; he can betray his mother for money – nothing more, nothing less. PDP is afraid to come out for an election; they are used to writing results and the era of writing results is coming to an end. How can you see a man like a tout like Nyesom Wike and you will allow him to address you?
"Be assured that no matter how many criminals Nyesom Wike brings out, no matter how many militants he brings out, if we hold our vote and vote rightly, we will defeat him. Wike is in a fight for immunity and by God’s grace he will not get immunity because he has to answer for all the death in Omofro. Who killed the people they killed in Omofro? Who killed the two persons in my local government area on Saturday March 28?” he added.

"Buhari Will Die In Office" – Says Prophet Who Predicted Jonathan's Defeat

Osun State-born Prophet, J.K. Hephzibah, otherwise known as Baba Peculiar, who predicted the defeat of Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan in the presidential election has disclosed that the President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari needs fervent prayers from Nigerians in order not to die in power like President Umaru Yar’Adua.

Buhari, Osinbajo

The respectable cleric made this known on Saturday, April 4, 2015 in Lagos while addressing national issues.

According to Hephzibah:
“One of my seven-point messages to the president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, that is been packaged to be released during my miracle night in Lagos in a few days time is that Nigerians should pray for President Buhari in order to avert his death.
“I saw the new president in my vision being kept somewhere for most of his followers to rule this country.”
Baba Peculiar, in his predictions, further said Buhari, as loved by many, is not the messiah to save this country.

He said he would just rule for a period of time to pave the way for God’s chosen person that will take Nigeria to the Promise Land.

The cleric added:
“I see Professor Yemi Osinbajo ruling this country, while General Buhari will just be there like a ceremonial head.
“In fact, Osinbajo also needs to be careful because he would be assassinated by an ex-military Head of State.
“God told me he is giving the mandate to Jimi Agbaje of PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) in Lagos State, but the power that be in APC (All Progressives Congress) will try to upturn the election in their favour and if care is not taken, this may lead to crisis.”
The notable prophet, in his conclusion, urged all men of God to pray for Buhari in order for him to complete is term.
“I implore Nigerian men of God to avoid being used by politicians.
“By doing so, they are playing God and the consequence will not be palatable,” said Hephzibah.

" I was surprised that Barack Obama gave Professor Attahiru Jega an award when the elections are still on," he said.
"Obama should be tactful in handling the affairs of Africa. US should leave us alone, Nigeria is an Independent country. They tried it Egypt, they should not try anything in Nigeria," he added.

Buhari Tells Igbos To Forgive Oba Akiolu And Vote For APC

President-elect,Gen.Buhari has called on all Igbos to forgive Oba Akiolu and move on. He said Fashola has done a great job so far and it's in the interest of all to vote APC.

Buhari

Speaking at a rally in Lagos yesterday, he said:
“I admire what your governor has done in terms of mobilising revenue to sustain Lagos development. I have a lot of respect for Governor Fashola for his hard work, commitment to the state and the country. There is no doubt that Lagos is a mini-Nigeria. We are all here and it has been mentioned by previous speakers that everybody (tribe) is adequately represented in Lagos. So, I assure you. If you vote for the continuity of APC in Lagos, you stand to gain more. It is in your interest that you vote for the APC.
“Please when you go home tell your neighbours, relatives and even the opposition to please bury the hatchet. Let them fall in line and vote the APC.
“When we were coming in our bus, Fashola told me how Lagos State had been spending to maintain the federal infrastructure here such as buildings, roads and other institutions. I had promised before that if I won the election and became the President, I would make Lagos my priority. Governor Fashola is already holding to me to that promise so I would like the incoming governor to listen carefully and make sure he makes me honour my undertaking."

The National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, said Lagos was responsible for building the opposition and ensuring that it finally took control of the centre.

He said it would be a great injustice for Lagos to become an opposition state after working so hard to build a bright future.

"Whoever Wants To Impeach Me Will Have To Impeach God" – Fayose

Ekiti state Governor Ayo Fayose has warned that anyone who is trying to impeach him should first impeach God.

Gov. Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state

Gov. Fayose said this during an audience participatory programme; 'Meet Your Governor' aired on the State Television, EKTV, Ekiti Radio, Progress FM and NTA, Ado Ekiti today April 6th.

He said:
"I’m like Israel that is in the midst of enemies but will always prevail. Whoever wants to remove me will first have to impeach God. They are doing all these just to get at me because of my support for President Jonathan and I have no regret for supporting the president. Let me say it again, I have not been served any impeachment notice. The House of Assembly is also on recess and Dr Adewale Omirin is not the speaker of the State House of Assembly. Omirin is in court, challenging his impeachment and he can’t be challenging his impeachment in court and at the same time laying claim to being Speaker.”

According to reports, the couple would adopt little babies in the guise that they want to raise them and then they would sell the children to their child trafficking syndicate.

Confessing to the crime, Pastor John said:
“We have the mission to train children  nd suddenly we changed our mind, when my wife and I ventured into selling of a new baby for N200,000.00 or N300,000.00 since we have a syndicate who could sell it for us’’he said.

"Integrity Not Enough To Fight Corruption" – Bakare Tells Buhari

The General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, on Sunday in Lagos cautioned the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, against appointing persons with questionable character into his government, Punch reports.

Tunde Bakare

Some of these people, the cleric said, were among those who facilitated Buhari’s success on March 28.

Bakare, who was the running mate to Buhari in the 2011 Presidential election on the platform of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, said this at the 26th anniversary of his church. He delivered a message titled, ‘Democracy audit: chances, choices and consequences.’

The 60 year-old pastor urged Buhari to start the fight against corruption from his circle and lay a good example, saying change cannot be achieved if these were not done.

He said,
“I congratulate Nigerians; we have chosen a man of integrity as our President. But integrity is not enough to run a government.
“May the good Lord surround the President-elect with men and women of goodwill, great intellectual capacity, competence and character to help restore our wasted years.
“I pray sincerely that not all those who facilitated his winning the election will be among those who run the government. I did say before the election that I trust the person of General Buhari but not all those around him.
“I mean every word of it because many of them are nothing but Ali Baba and 40 thieves. And if these are the same who would go into government, you can’t fight evil with evil. You can as well kiss the anti-corruption stance of Mr. President-elect goodbye.”
Bakare prayed for Buhari to have the needed wisdom and strength, noting that people were already submitting applications to him to serve in the incoming administration.
“You don’t know how many applications are in my phone. I am not the Vice-President; I am not looking for a job. They said ‘we know General Buhari listens to you; if I cannot get Minister of Works, maybe I will get Minister of Aviation’.
“The vultures are now going round and round. If he does not have quality people around him, then they will put round pegs in square holes and within two years, we are back to square one.”

"I Told Jonathan He Would Loose" – T.B Joshua

Pastor T.B Joshua has revealed he told president Jonathan he would lose the 2015 presidential elections.

TB Joshua, TB Joshua prophecy

In a message to his congregation, televised live via his Christian network Emmanuel TV,he said..
“I want to use this moment to congratulate Nigerians in our midst here,” Mr. Joshua began in a message to his congregation, televised live via his Christian network Emmanuel TV and posted on the social network of the church.
“This message should be delivered to your president, that whatever the outcome of this election, his regime has come to an end. He should accept to save the lives of millions.”
Joshua said he called Jonathan by phone, stressing that he chose to relay it personally so that it will not affect votes’ pattern or be seen as a campaign for any of the candidate in the election. He added that he has shared with President Jonathan many revelations about Nigeria which eventually came to pass.

According to Vangurad, Joshua said he told the presidential aide who had worshiped at his church during a Sunday service that  Jonathan’s regime had come to an end.
“Soft landing – that is the language I sent to the president,” he told attendees.
T.B Joshua also said President Jonathan ‘has a heart for God’, revealing that he even spoke with the Nigerian president shortly before his historic concession call to President-elect Buhari.
“I said to him, ‘Your Excellency – all you need to say is ‘thank You, Jesus’, even when it seems there is nothing to be thankful for. He said, ‘Thank you, man of God’. Before I knew it, I saw the news on CNN that he had congratulated his opponent,”Joshua said.
“Look, Nigeria wanted change – everyone was yearning for change. An attempt to stop change leads to war, to a bloodbath… If Nigeria knows what we have overcome, we would dance,”Joshua said.
Joshua praised Jonathan’s tenure insisting that he had served his nation well despite the immense security challenges.
“I really want to salute President Jonathan. The President has served; he has done his best. It was just the season of crisis – and unfortunately he found himself at the lead in the season of crisis,” he said.

Ijaw Youths To Fight Election Loss, Says "Northerners Created Boko Haram To Make Jonathan Unpopular"

The Ijaw Youth Council has changed their stance after earlier commending President Goodluck Jonathan for accepting defeat at the poll and promising not to resort to attacking pipeline and oil infrastructure. They also pledged loyalty to the Buhari administration.

Ijaw Youths

But now,the spokesperson for the group, Eric Omare, said the group was not satisfied with the turn out of the polls and will seek a new direction
“The IYC has resolved to call for a National Congress of all Ijaw Youths on Sunday, the 5th of April, 2015 at Tuomo Community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State where all the Ijaw Youths of the Niger-Delta region would meet to review the outcome of the Presidential elections.
“IYC will take a position and determine the next direction of our struggle for self-determination and resource control as enshrined in the historic Kaiama Declaration.
“We call on all Ijaw Youths to be alert and ready to heed the call to the service of the Ijaw nation at this crucial time of our history and struggle for survival in the Nigerian state in the face of the grand conspiracy between the north and a section of the south west to continue to suppress and exploit the resource of the Ijaw nation.
“We recall that when President Jonathan, an Ijaw and from the South South won an internationally acclaimed free, fair and credible election in 2011, General Buhari and his people never at any time congratulated or supported President Jonathan.
“Instead they killed hundreds of innocent Nigerians and fought President Jonathan from the day he became the Acting President of Nigeria in 2010 until the north conspired with a section of the south west to take over the Presidency from President Jonathan and the minorities of the south-south in an election fraught with irregularities.
“It is also significant to note that none of the northern socio-cultural groups such as the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) and others congratulated or supported the administration of President Jonathan.
“Northerners created Boko Haram and blamed it on President Jonathan deliberately to incite the northern populace against President Jonathan and make him unpopular in the 2015 election so as to take back power in a grand conspiracy with a section of the south west.
“Therefore, the April 5, 2015 meeting of all Ijaw youths would determine the position of the Ijaw Youths on the 2015 Presidential election and our next line of action,”

The rotting remains of Jose Alberto were discovered in his home after neighbours reported a foul smell coming from the building.

According to reports, police forced their way into the home in San Jose de Balcare, eastern Argentina, and were stunned to discover the 58-year-old shepherd lying dead.

Next to him lay a scarecrow that had been dressed up as a woman - but wearing a strap-on s'ex toy.

Rodolfo Moure, a spokesman for the prosecutor, said:
"I initially thought there were two bodies but then I realised one was a scarecrow wearing lipstick and a long-haired wig.
"It was lying next to the deceased and had a six-inch strap-on penis.
"There were no signs of violence and we are working on the assumption that the man died during s'ex with the scarecrow.
"Straw had been stuffed inside the old clothes that had been sewn together to make the scarecrow.
"We are now waiting the results of an autopsy.”
Neighbours said the man, who was known to live alone and had no mobile phone, was often seen as a loner.

Fr. Mbaka Congratulates Buhari, Says Victory Confirms Him As A True Man of God

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka

The congratulatory message which was signed by his spokesman, Maximus Ugwuoke, reads:
"It is with vindictive joy and glory to God that the Adoration Ministry, the nation and indeed the world saw the fulfillment of Fr. Mbaka’s New Year prophesy of change with the miraculous, victorious emergence of Gen.Muhammadu Buhari at the March 28 polls as the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We wish to restate that before President Goodluck became the President of this country, Fr. Mbaka prophesied it in his message titled ‘Okolo.’
"Today again, Buhari’s victory among other lessons it portends for Nigerians has once more confirmed to all and sundry that Fr. Mbaka is indeed a true Prophet of God and that his New Year message was indeed from the Oracle of the Holy Spirit as he declared.
The ministry with magnanimous heart holds no grudges against anyone who attacked it in one way or the other at the rage of the controversies surrounding Fr. Mbaka’s message and view their actions as being orchestrated by their misconstruing of Fr. Mbaka’s prophetic calling.
"The Ministry joins the rest of Nigerians to congratulate Muhammadu Buhari as God’s chosen instrument of change to tackle the myriads of problems facing Nigeria and pray God to endow him with the wisdom to go about this onerous task.”

"I Will Crush Boko Haram In 2 Months' – Buhari Vows | Video

President –Elect, Muhammadu Buhari has promised his administration will crush the Boko Haram militants within two months of his assuming office. Speaking during an interview with Christiane Amanpour on CNN yesterday ,he said on insecurity in the North-East and Niger Delta.

Buhari vows to crush boko haram

“We know how they started and where they are now and we will rapidly give attention to security in the country. And I believe we will effectively deal with them in two months when we get into office.
"We will be needing the cooperation of neighbouring countries such as Cameroon, Chad and Niger. There were efforts made by the President Goodluck Jonathan administration, but it was not good enough and it came rather late.
“We expected the Federal Government four years ago to sit down with these countries and make sure they do not allow the terrorists free movement across borders, training facilities and movement of weapons.
"These were only done a few months ago and we have seen how Cameroon, Chad and Niger are fighting Boko Haram more than Nigeria is doing until recently. Really we have seen enough and we have enough law enforcement to face Boko Haram squarely.”
Buhari also noted that the Army's non performance was affected by corruption. He added that..
“They will…if you recall, the Nigerian soldiers out of all ethical expectations were granting interviews to foreign journalists, saying they were being sent to fight terrorists without proper weapons. And then the National Assembly attempted to conduct a hearing to find out how much money was approved for training and weapon in the last three years but that hearing was scuttled by the administration.”

''Buhari’s Victory Might Force Us To Return To Militancy'' – Asari Dokubo Issues New Threat

Asari Dokubo, the former militant who promised to unleash violence on the country if the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan failed in election, has issued a new threat.

He promised to return “to the creeks” and blamed the Yoruba and Hausa for working against the Igbo and Niger- Deltans.

Dokubo said the election of General Muhammadu Buhari as president “is a clear indication that the country is not united” and blamed the Yoruba and Hausa for cooperating to frustrate Jonathan, who applauds from the Niger Delta region.

He said he feared that the government of the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, would be vicious.

According to Punch, Dokubo said in a comment released by his spokesperson Mr Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro that...
“The conditions that advanced the need to embrace the creeks have been sadly re-energised. It is clear that a vicious government who may maim and murder the voice of the so-called minorities may have just been birthed. Indeed integration is non-existent as regional gang-ups and supremacy is symbolic with this victory.”
The ex-militant, who had in January said he and his colleagues would wreak havoc if Jonathan lost the election, praised the President for being a true statesman. He said it was the struggle of the militants that led to the Jonathan presidency.

Asari-Dokubo said since the South-South had lost the presidency, ex-militants would meet to decide the next line of action.

He said:
“While President Jonathan enjoys his moments and basks in the euphoria of a new world-renowned statesman having congratulated Muhammadu Buhari, we must quickly be reminded that our struggle was never about Jonathan or about the presidency.
"President Jonathan is an establishment beneficiary of our struggle, our sweat and blood that many bled and died for. He was never in the struggle and he can never wish away our collective march for statesmanship.

"Yes indeed, to an extent, he was a mitigating factor in self-determination pursuit as we went on sabbatical. This mitigation he seems to have willingly repudiated. The days coming will be critical. We shall study all the conditions and consult widely before determining the way forward for our collective existence and survival as a people. The days coming shall either drive the quest of integration or further separate us.”

It was gathered that Adeniyi connived with two other suspects ─ Biodun Yusuf and one Raphael, who is still on the run ─ to abduct the victims.

It was learnt that two of the suspects were apprehended after the residents of the Alla-Isin area of Kwara State heard somebody screaming for help in Alla Grammar School at about 11pm on March 11 and rushed to the scene.

It was said that the residents could not find the victim on getting to the scene, but saw a Sienna
Space Wagon bus believed to be the property of the people that attracted the residents.

Adeniyi reportedly told them that Busayo was her girlfriend and he was only trying to forcefully have sex with her when she screamed. He was said to have initially declined to reveal her whereabouts.

Police said Adeniyi and his friends were also responsible for the abduction of Bose, who was declared missing on March 19 by her father.

The herbalist, who claimed the second victim was also his girlfriend, reportedly led security operatives to their hideout, where Busayo and Bose were rescued alive.

Our correspondent learnt that the suspects were transferred from Oke-Onigbin Police Division to the Criminal Investigation and intelligence Department in Ilorin for proper investigation.

They were on Wednesday, arraigned before Mr. A.I. Babatunde of the Ilorin Magistrate’s Court for criminal conspiracy, kidnapping and homicide.

PDP To Challenge Presidential Election Results As Agent Refuses To Sign Result Sheet

Last night, after all results were collated. All parties were called to the podium to sign the final collation result .

The PDP agent refused to sign it. He just spoke to Jega, shook his hands and walked away..Speaking to reporters Bello Fadile who refused to sign said...
“Whether I sign it (the result sheet) or I don’t sign it, does not make any difference. It doesn’t invalidate the result‎. When we go to court, then we can challenge the result,”
When asked to confirm if the PDP will challenge the result at the presidential election petitions tribunal, Fadile added,
“Sure! The party petitioned. Don’t forget. So the party will follow through the petition. There are rules for this. The law is there.
“The result was declared on the 1st of April, I think. We will follow the due process. Like the president (Jonathan) said, If you have any grievances, follow due process and the due process in this instance is to go to the tribunal.”
